the name pretty much speaks for itself, but today i’m going to give you the IN on this amazing recipe! i had to ask special permission to post it because it’s been a family secret for so long! peanut butter fingers are every bit of crunchy, gooey, warm, chocolately, peanut-buttery goodness in one bite. and they’re SO EASY to make! you probably have everything you need right in your pantry.
the crust
+ one stick of margarine
+ 1/2 cup sugar
+ 1/2 cup brown sugar
+ one egg
+ 1 cup of flour
+ 1/3 cup peanut butter
+ 1 cup quick oats
the top
+ 6oz of semi-sweet chocolate chips (half of a standard sized bag)
+ 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
+ 1/4 cup peanut butter
+ 3-4 tbsp evaporated milk

step one — preheat your oven to 350 degrees. in a large mixing bowl, cream one stick of margarine, 1/2 cup of white sugar, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar.

step two — add in one egg, 1 cup of flour, 1/3 cup of peanut butter, and 1 cup of quick oats.

step three — spread mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish. bake for 20-25 minutes.

step four — once slightly browned, remove from the oven. pour the chocolate chips on top and wait a couple of minutes. the chocolate will start to melt on its own and be easier to spread!
step five — mix 1/2 cup confectioners sugar, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and 3-4 tablespoons of evaporated milk in a small bowl. you can use a fork for this as it softens right away. you will need this a liquid enough consistency to just drizzle off the end of the fork, so not too thick, not too thin. add more evaporated milk as needed.

step six — once the chocolate has been spread, you may now drizzle your peanut butter mix on top!

you can choose to wait until it’s fully cooled to try, but these are AMAZING when they’re still warm and gooey! the edge pieces will have a little crunch, but the center pieces will be super soft. all of your friends will love you after bringing this to a party! TRUST ME.

enjoy!!
cheers, friends!
